Festival Internacional de Teatro de Bogotá pays tribute to Catalan culture


The XII International Theater Festival of Bogotá, to be held in March 2010, will feature over 250 companies including 60 of 35 countries, organizers said Monday the competition version of which will pay tribute to the Catalan culture. "Theater of Catalonia and the Balearic Islands will be starring in the XII Iberoamerican Theater Festival of Bogotá, where they will be special guests. Names like Peter Brook or Lluís Pasqual will now be more familiar to the Colombian public thanks to the Festival", as quoted by a press release . The twelfth version of the theatrical festival, held every two years in the Colombian capital, will be released Tuesday at an event to be attended by several directors and actors who intervene in 2010 as the Catalan pianist and composer Carles Santos, which presents the work 'Pantera Imperial'.
