In this section I will show you some places that are nice and that will show you that Colombia is a very nice country where you can find very interesting and very nice things.

Salt cathedral of Zipaquira
The Salt Cathedral of Zipaquira is a natural place where you will travel through all a salt mine where you will find a lot of beautiful places, such as a waterfall of salt, water mirrors, and a beautiful cathedral in. And don’t be afraid because the language, because there are guides that will explain you in idioms such as English, German, French, and Spanish.

Gold Museum
The Banco de la República Gold Museum not only preserves and investigates one of the most important collections of pre-Hispanic metallurgy in the world, it also makes that collection widely known and exhibits it. As its history, which dates back to 1939, has unfolded, so this institution has become a symbol of Colombia's cultural memory.

The Gold Museum exhibition invites you to discover the history of gold and other metals that were used by the pre-Hispanic societies who once lived in the territory now known as Colombia. The permanent exhibition is arranged in four exhibition galleries and one exploration gallery:
The Working of Metals describes the mining and manufacturing techniques employed by the ancient metallurgists.
People and Gold in Pre-Hispanic Colombia reveals how and in what contexts people used metals as part of their political and religious organization.
Cosmology and Symbolism explores mythical subjects, shamanism, and the zymology of metals.
The Offering immerses the visitor in the world of ceremonies at which offerings were made.
The Exploratorium encourages interactivity and reflection on the diversity and meaning of the heritage that is preserved in the Museum.

Monserrate
Cerro de Monserrate is of great importance for Bogotá. The white church built on the summit of a mountain 3,200 meters high dominates the cityscape. Pilgrims, devoted to the Señor Caído (a statue of Christ inside the church), visit to pay their dues for the idol's generosity. The mountaintop offers the best panoramic view of Bogotá. There is also a handicrafts market, good cafes and a couple of excellent restaurants with both traditional and international menus, which stay open until midnight. You can get to the top by funicular or by cable car.
Monserrate (after Catalan homonym mountain Montserrat) is a mountain that dominates the city centre of Bogotá, the capital city of Colombia. It rises to 3,152 meters (10,341 ft) above the sea level, where there is a church (built in the 17th century) with a shrine, devoted to "El Señor Caído" (Fallen Lord).

The hill is a pilgrim destination, as well as a tourist attraction. In addition to the church, the summit contains a restaurant and many smaller tourist facilities. Monserrate can be accessed by aerial tramway, a funicular or by climbing, the preferred way of pilgrims.
